How to make money online is certainly one of the most searched topics on the Internet. We have all, by a way or another, heard of how some geeks,tech-savvy black hackers, or just anyone who is familiar enough with the Internet, make money in a quite passive way. Well, this is what most people think of the internet, but since they are not quite good at technical stuff, they shy away from any attempt to earn an extra income.Thinking of an extra income makes one drool, and I wasn't an exception. The Idea of making money online wasn't first really significant to me. I have always thought of that as a waste of time, but to stick to one source of income is so frustrating, especially when your expenses rise considerably and you realise that you are not living the life you have always expected. Then, I remember that a friend of mine have told me how a kindergarten teacher made upwards of 1 million dollars selling lesson plans online. That's certainly something new and unbelievable. To check the truthfulness of this, I have made a research about selling lesson plans online. And guess what? what my friend told me was quite right. There is this site, www.teacherspayteachers.com, which enables teachers to sell and buy teaching materials and many teachers are already making a living out of it.Making researches about how to be a successful seller, I have come across many suggestions to improve the quality of my materials and also to drive traffic to my products. One of the suggestions was to create a blog with a backlink to my account in Teacherspayteachers. com But while making those researches, I have for the first time learnt about blogging and building a niche that could secure you another source of income. I wouldn't go into details of how to make money blogging Because I'm quite sure that a lot of articles have been write on that.Creating a blog isn't enough to make money with ad programmes like google AdSense, google affiliate network, amazon, eBay and the list is so long. One thing you learn when you create a blog or a site is that you need visitors, and to get that you have to work hard to build up your search engine visibility. Once you make constant researches about that you get many ideas on how to promote your blog's search engine ranking. That's admittedly a lot of work and a lot of efforts. Then I started to realise that the idea of earning a passive income is a myth. You have to work so diligently to making any penny online.if your search engine ranking is low, your earnings will be significantly low.You would probably lapse into fatigue and exhaust all your efforts for some pennies that are not worth all the trouble. So if you think of making money online here are my tips for you in order not to waste your energy and efforts for nothi

1- Buy a Custom domain: if you have created a blog, set up a custom domain based on that blog; e.g Blogger can host your domain. Once you have set up your own domain you'll be highly ranked in search engines, and you'll be accepted for ad programmes like AdSense

2- Plan before you work: yo save time while blogging, don't keep thinking of how your blog should, don't work online while planning for your blog

3- Focus on the content of your website: to improve your search engine visibility, work on your content and keywords.Make a research for keywords that have much chance to be visible in search engines. Try Google Adwords and see what keywords work best for you

4- Connect with other Bloggers: to and consider link exchange with other sites

5-Use Social Media Networks: to get many people visit your site or see your products, create a facebook fan page. Fan pages are so effective to secure more traffic flow to your site.

6- Do the things that you like doing: even if your objective is to earn money, you can do it the funny and right way. If you are good at photography, you can sell your photos to istockphoto.com, if you consider yourself a good writer, you can write for Hubpages.com, Squidoo, or consider ehow.com, scribd or Buksia. If you're a good website designer, build a niche site and sell it for Flippa. If you 're a teacher buymaterials for Teacherspayteachers.com or Teacherlingo.com.

8- Don't waste your time with scams: There are many scam sites that are trying to rob you! Don't make any purchases from site unless you check if that site is a scum or not. To do this try some sites like Websitedown. Don't ever bother yourself with buying traffic, because most sites which buy traffic don't deliver real targeted people to your website.

Conclusion!

These are my tips and suggestions for anyone who wants to make money online. It's so frustrating to work so hard for something and in the end you get nothing for it. There's an English proverb which explians this: '' All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.'' So, you don't want to turn up dull and frustrated; just do it wisely and surely you're going to make money the right and funny way. Be wise and don't tire yourself for nothing. I'm writing for hubpages not solely for money, but because I like writing and hubpages seems a perfect place for my writings to be read! Just do the things that you like best, and you will always succeed!
